This is a funny photo. I can't comment on iPod performance since I do not have one, however, I can compare iTunes to Windows music WAV players and there is no comparisons, iTunes is so much easier to use and so much more versitile that I find that it alone makes my choice when I get ready cash an easy one.
What I find amusing is how nervous the iPod makes people in Windows land. Like it might possibly cause people to switch to Mac OS X in large numbers even though iTunes comes in a Windows version, and even though there are a large number of other players around.
I think it is the amazing, out of the blue sucess of the iPod that has people nervous. If the staff at Redmond at the heart of Microsoft's inner lair are boldly walking around with iPod's because they so strongly prefer iTunes and iPod interfaces to something else, then you have to suspect that "Something" special is going on with these gadgets.
Of course in only a few years, all of these players will all look like toys and you will be able to carry around your entire album collection on your watch or cell phone. Its only a matter of time.
