ZFS für OS X?

«Chris Emura, the Filesystem Development Manager within Apple's CoreOS organization is interested in porting ZFS to OS X», schreibt Sun-Mitarbeiter Eric Kustarz in der OpenSolaris-Mailingliste. «ZFS is notable for its high capacity, integration of the previously separate concepts of filesystem and volume management into a single product, novel on-disk structure, lightweight filesystems, and easy storage pool management.» Aus der Wikipedia, dort findet sich ebenfalls eine vergleichende Übersicht diverser Dateisysteme.
